Sketching
In this project, I used the sketching phase to explore some different possibilities of the form of the radiator.

Clay modeling
From sketching, I moved to clay modeling, which served me as an intuitive way of exploring different forms. In the concepts, I focused on the detail where the pass-through section continuous to the ribs of the radiator, which I found to be the pivotal point. Then I used a system of mirrors to see what exact impression the shape gives in the linked series of segments.

Computer modeling
Selected clay forms were then particularised and explored further in Rhinoceros 3d, which gave another view on how the forms perform in proportions and series.

Final modeling
After the final language was found, the proportions were refined and the definitive form was shaped using the sub division modeling tools.
